Other Methods to promote your store for FREE!
1) Make a video about your products and link from YouTube to your shop and vice versa.
2) Increase the number of links to your shop, e.g. by putting it on websites which have relevance to your product, e.g. Sites, blogs, photo streams or galleries that you follow.
3) When you submit your product to one of these sites make your own ‘press release’.
This could include the following:
• A least one photograph where the object fills the frame with natural lighting and a neutral background,
• A detailed shot of a critical component of your product,
• A photograph of the object in use to give scale and context,
4) Write a brief description of the item along with a short bio with direct links to your item and your personal website or blog. Journalists (and especially bloggers) can be lazy and if fed information they can convert into a story without too much research they will be more likely to write about it so make it easy for them.
